With GaLwood, opener has the unique ability to show each one of these, separately:

• a 5 card major, or,
• a 6 card major, or,
• a 7 card major, or,
• an 8+ card major, or,
• 44, 45, 54, 55 distribution in the majors.

The five and six card majors are each shown, uniquely, at the one level. The seven and eight plus card majors are each shown, again, uniquely, with ONLY one immediate rebid, usually at no higher than the two level.

Additionally, 44, 45, 54 and 55 shapes, with 12-15 or 17-20 HCP can also be shown, uniquely, in two bids, at no higher than 2NT.
