December 6, 2011 - The "1C-1D; 1N" sequence was changed from 16-20 HCP to 16-19 HCP, thereby allowing the sequences 1C-1D; 2N = 20-21 HCP and 2N = 22-24.
December 18, 2011 - The 1N opening bid range was narrowed from 12-15 to 12-14, making the 1C-1D; 1N, sequence 15-18 instead of 16-18, and the 1C-1D; 2N sequence 19-20 HCP, thereby making 2N opening 21+ HCP.
January 4, 2012 - All descriptions regarding the "seamless" integration of Acol onto GaLwood have been updated. Acol players will have to either make many adjustments, or wait for a special GW version for them. The only item borrowed from the Acol philosophy is the weak NT.
March 5, 2012 - The 1D opening bid has been changed from 5+ diamonds to 3+. This was done to provide an escape valve, in case opener has an odd hand which doesn't quite fit within other sequences.
May 5, 2012 - The Minorwood convention was incorporated into GW, and, rather seamlessly. This proves the original claim that common conventions and gadgets can be included without much, if any, adjustment.
May 10, 2012 - The "1C-1D; 1N" sequence was further tweaked from 16-19 HCP to 16-18 HCP, thereby making the sequence 1C-1D; 2N = 19-20 HCP and the 2N opening bid = 21-23+.
May 10, 2012 - Texas transfers were added without any adjustments.
May 15, 2012 - The 1N opening range was raised from 12-14 to 13-15 SP.
May 26, 2012 - Marty Bergen's starting points section was updated, but not the Bergen Points or Dummy Points sections. Those are still to be updated.
May 31, 2012 - All references to SP (Starting Points) have been removed from bid pages. Readers are advised to see the "Counting Points" section for a quick look at Marty Bergen's methodology.
June 9, 2012 - All references to counting points have been removed pending review and discussion of potential options.
